Cold Turkey

19 years of smoking and many quit attempts later. I realized smoking is a difficult habit to break, and it has real health impacts. I quit and relapsed so many times in the past. But I'm not going to give up on quitting. After every unsuccessful quit, I gained insight on how to do it right or at least better than before.

I am quitting cold turkey ..again.. but this time it's different. This time it's public, but most importantly it's a goal, it's a life style change.

I choose to quit cold turkey above the other methods. With cold turkey, the quit is instant. The inhalation of poison stops instantly.

My blueprint to change my lifestyle.

Goals | physical, cognitive, social, environmental, occupational, spiritual, intellectual | Roles

Physical Health Goals

Physical health is the state of being free from illness or injury. It can cover a wide range of areas including healthy diet, healthy weight, dental health, personal hygiene and sleep. Physical health is vital for overall well-being

  • Rest and Relaxation
  • Alcohol and Drugs
  • Diet

Sleep is important for over all well-being. I love to sleep that is why I always aim to get 8 hours of good rest.

I don't consider Cannabis as a drug, but it does have some side effects. Hence I am also doing a weed-detox.

A healthy diet, is a must for a healthy life style change.

Social Health Goals

Social health is commonly defined as your ability to form meaningful relationships with other people and interact in healthy, positive ways. The way you connect to the people around you, adapt to different social situations, and experience a sense of belonging all contribute to your social health

  • Environmental Health
  • Occupational Health

Our health is connected to the health of the immediate environment surrounding us. We should strive to take care of our surroundings.

This is the place where we spend most of our waking hours. It is important for you to be happy and healthy at a place like this.

Cognitive Health Goals

Cognitive and neurological health refers to the health of the brain and its overall function. Specifically, cognition is the combination of several critical brain functions, including memory, judgment, language, intuition and the ability to learn

  • Spiritual Health
  • Emotional Health
  • Intellectual Health

The secrets to all of the universe is locked up in the enlightenment spirituality has to offer.

Emotion is something that can move a person to make decisions that normally he or she wouldn't make. Controlling our own emotions is a big part of life.

Being intelligent is much more than having a big brain. There's other forms of intelligence humans poses.
